1 hour class is 10 pounds, 1.5 hour class is 15 pounds, 2 hour workshop is 20 pounds

Stewart is known throughout London for his popular, fast-paced and fiery classes. He infuses his high energy and challenging teachings with yogic knowledge, banging beats, as well as his unique charisma, humour and gift of the gab! His classes include an emphasis on breath, a steady stream of verbal suggestions and strong physical adjustments. For open-minded students looking for a challenge, Stew’s classes will push you to take your practice further. Stewjuri applies the ancient teachings of yoga to the modern world to create a thought-provoking class.
Having trained as Jivamukti teacher in 2003, Stewart’s spiritual journey led him to train all over the world with teachers who have had a profound effect on his unique style of teaching. He offers his eternal gratitude to all his teachers: Sabel Thuram, Chogyam Trungpa, Guy de Bord, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Bob Marley, Gandiji and Swami Niramalanda.
Growing up in Asia, Claire began practising Hatha from a young age. In her mid-twenties she discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga - a breathing, moving meditation. She then established a consistent, personal practice with Stewart Gilchrist focusing on yogasana. Working in the film industry she was accustomed to a high octane life. Yoga has brought her life more focus and balance, as well as all the other benefits: the bliss, the clarity of thought and calmness of mind. Having converted almost everyone she knows into practicing yoga, she decided to train as a teacher under Stewart and now enjoy motivating and guiding others through their practice.
Like many, Aram came to yoga as therapy for serious back and knee injuries and was immediately struck by the healing and transformative qualities of the practice, both physical and mental. Especially the magical effects of the breath. The physical practice of asana (poses) and pranyama (breath extension) led to a greater awareness first of the body and then beyond, to a deeper understanding of the workings of the mind and into the practical and philosophical roots of yoga as a technology for understanding the nature of the Self and as a healing art. Aram completed his teacher training with inspirational yogi Doug Swenson and continues to regularly practice with and assist his longterm teacher Stewart Gilchrist. He has travelled and meditated extensively in search of amazing teachers to help expand his experience. The roots of his practice are based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya and the lineage passed down by him. Classes are dynamic, challenging, filled with good humour and all inclusive.
